The Detroit Pistons defeated the Philladelphia 76ers 107-85
The 76ers lose their first game of the season. Webber said this,"I hoped to beat them to show that we can contend with
last years champions. But its just one game and we're only two games into the season so we'll rebound for sure." Dale Davis
said this,"I know I'm new here but when Dalembert got in foul trouble and Reiner was too I expected to come in. I mean send
in me, a Center, on Ben Wallace/Rasheed Wallace, or send in Barnes the small forward? I'm sure most people would say me but
I guess Maurice thought Barnes was better for that situation. I'm not sayin' he's a bad coach or anything and I respect his
descision, but I would have put me or any other Center in. Also no disrespect to Barnes, he's a great player, I'm just saying
i would choose any small forward after a center to play Detroit." Steven Kagemann said," Every starter and two
bench players had double diget points. Iguodala should have limited Rip Hamilton's 26 points. Rip had 16 of them in the 4th
quarter.
Dalembert 15 points, 6 rebounds, and 1 block despite foul trouble.
Webber 19 points, 10 rebounds, 6 assists, 4 steals, and 1 block. Second double-double in a row at the start of the season
is good. :)
Korver 8 points, 3 rebounds, 4 assists, and 1 block with limited minutes.
Iguodala 17 points, 9 rebounds, and 1 block. Almost a double-double.
Iverson 18 points, 2 rebounds, 9 assists, 5 steals, and 1 block for the tiny man.

76ers win big!
The Philladelphia 76ers beat the Milwaukee Bucks 113-67
In the first game of the year the leaders in points are Chris Webber and Allen Iverson at 37 a piece. Steven Kagemann,
the new gm had to say this,"We played great D out there. We held Bogut to only 11 points and Redd to only 15. Webber and Iverson
had double-doubles. Now that is a great game played for us. It will hopefully set the tone for the rest of the year." Maurice
Cheeks, the new coach, had to say this,"Man that was great. The first game of the year and we beat em' by 49! We played good
D but the main reason we won was because the Bucks just couldn't get their defence or offence started. In the first quarter
it was 27-8, That shows that we had good defence at the Bucks let us score easily. I'm not sayin' this is a bad game, but
the games to come will be much harder and we'll need to put up a harder effort."
Dalembert 10 points, 9 blocks, and 9 rebounds. Very close to a triple-double.
Webber 37 points, 1 block, 14 rebounds, and 7 assists. A very guard-type night except for rebs.
Korver 10 points, 7 rebounds, 3 assissts, and 3 steals.
Iguodala 18 points, 9 rebounds, 3 assists, and 3 steals.
Iverson 37 points, 5 rebouns, 14 assists, and 6 steals.
Great night for the team, Webber and Iverson both had double-doubles. Dalembert was either 1 block or rebound away from
a double-double and 1 block AND rebound away from a triple-double.
